Remembering Lives + Broadcast Links

January 22, 1973. Roe v. Wade.
Today marks 42 years of legalized abortion.
More than 57 million babies have been killed in the womb.
The one place on earth that should be the safest.

As I feel my unborn little one kicking inside me,
it makes me incredibly sad to think of all those wasted lives.
All those tiny babes, who never had a chance to see the light of day.
It makes me even sadder, to think of all those women and girls
who are suffering in silence.

I just finished listening to all three episodes
in a recent Revive Our Hearts series:
Finding True Life After Abortion
with Jennifer Smith.
Wow. Talk about powerful.
She shares her story -
how she went from condemning a friend in high school
for having an abortion
to spiraling into drinking + partying herself
and then eventually having one herself.
The guilt, the shame, the condemnation she lived with.
But! The power of the cross + the shed blood
and the freedom and forgiveness she found is incredible!
God healed her marriage and now she is the director of
a Carenet Pregnancy Center in Nile, MI.
Listen to it yourself.

Another broadcast I heard recently was on Family Talk.
Dr. Dobson was interviewing Gianna Jessen & Jill Klopfenstein.
Gianna was the survivor of an saline abortion
and Jill is the adoptive mother of eleven abused children,
including 10-year-old Zachary, who is handicapped because
of prebirth cocaine use + a medical procedure intended to kill at birth.
Amazing broadcast!
