Rejoicing and Weeping

“Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.” (Romans 12:15)

Today I want to rejoice with my dear friends who are experiencing and happy about new things happening in their lives!! I love being able to see God answer your prayers and grant you the desires of your hearts… I love seeing Him bringing new opportunities and direction… I love seeing the ways He is working and moving in your lives and hearts! (Just a warning though – if you call me with happy news at midnight when everyone else in the house is sleeping, I just might shriek into the pillow!!)

Jolene, Brianne, Sherrisa, Rachel W, Becky, Nicole, Lenore, and a couple more of you 😉 … I celebrate you and rejoice with you as you enter and discover and walk on this journey of relationships and marriage. CHEERS!!

I rejoice in the goodness of God in granting new life!

Rachal, Sara, Heidi, Andrea, Janelle, Amber and Emma – I celebrate you and the gift of your precious little babies… the ones that have arrived already [Ethan Gabriel, Mya Grace, and Cassidy Brooke] and the ones still to come.

I also rejoice in the freedom and contentment and rest in Christ that [you and you and you] have found… I rejoice in the specific ways that He is leading you and providing for you… with new jobs and ministry opportunities! And I rejoice in the beauty I see reflected in your lives!

I also weep with those of you who are weeping.

Those who are still waiting on God to move… those who are struggling to discover their identity and worth…  those who are grieving losses and pain in their life… those who are on the verge of something unknown… those who struggle to trust completely… those who feel left behind… those who wrestle with all kinds of questions… [you know who you are] God cares just as much for you as He does for the ones rejoicing. You are celebrated and loved and special! He has not forgotten you… and I haven’t either.

And no matter where you are – weeping or rejoicing or somewhere in between… God is there. “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91: 1-2)
