Out of Focus

Just as a photographer peers through his camera lens and adjusts the focus for the best possible picture, so it is with my life.

I lose my perspective sometimes.

Life appears blurry.

Instead of a clear, crisp image, only obscure, indistinct shapes appear. I can’t make sense of what I’m seeing.

Nothing is clear.

I need my focus to be adjusted.

It’s a frustrating, confusing feeling to be looking through a blurry life lens. Makes one feel rather lost and desperate. After my focus is back in the right place, and I begin to look at life through the right perspective again, it is so much more beautiful and purposeful.

Jesus, I need You to adjust my focus and bring it back to You alone.
